Jim Hoffman Elected ACEC Senior Vice Chair

We are excited to announce that Jim Hoffman, President of Summer Consultants, Inc., has been elected Senior Vice Chair of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Executive Committee for the 2025-2026 term.
Mr. Hoffman, who is also serving as the ACEC Executive Committee Mid-Atlantic Region Vice Chair, has been a committed advocate for ACEC’s mission, representing the organization at events across the country. With his expertise and leadership, Mr. Hoffman is dedicated to strengthening the value of engineering in the industry and advancing the goals of ACEC’s members.
“I am truly honored to step into this role with ACEC,” said Jim Hoffman. “Through my involvement, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with members and learning about their challenges, solutions, and opportunities. I look forward to continuing to represent ACEC and work toward enhancing opportunities for our member firms.”

Mr. Hoffman has worked with ACEC for more than 10 years. He has served as Chair of the ACEC Federal Agencies & Procurement Advocacy Committee and as a member of the ACEC Small Firm Coalition Executive Committee. He is a Past Chair of ACEC Metropolitan Washington. He will assume his new role as Senior Vice Chair at the 2025 ACEC Annual Convention in Washington, DC, in May.
