Al Nance Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Summer Consultants

Congratulations to Al Nance who recently observed his 50-year anniversary with Summer Consultants. A vice president with the firm, Al was honored for his achievements at the firm’s 2020 year-end celebration (held virtually, of course.)

“This is a tremendous milestone, and we are excited to recognize Al for his achievements,” said President Jim Hoffman. “He is a not only a skilled engineer, but also a great teacher and mentor to all of our staff.”

Al began his career at Summer Consultants as a mechanical designer, and currently serves as a project manager, specializing in the design of complex HVAC renovation projects for federal and municipal agencies. His experience includes projects for the Smithsonian Institute; Architect of the Capitol; General Services Administration; U.S. Navy; and the National Institutes of Health.

“I just really enjoy what I do,” stated Nance. “I look forward to doing it for a while longer.”
