Amber Robertson, EIT

Amber followed in her father’s footsteps in becoming an engineer, discovering her interest in fire protection engineering along the way. Amber began her career with Summer Consultants as an intern, working with the firm through her final year and joining the team full-time upon graduation. She works with the team conducting surveys and working on system designs while expanding her knowledge about fire protection, code compliance, and life safety so that she can earn her PE and help be a resource for the next, upcoming fire protection engineer.

What is the coolest project that you have worked on at SCI (so far) and why?

The BARC fire alarm and fire suppression study for the U.S. Department of Agriculture – I was in awe surveying the Bonsai Museum in DC.
